I make abstract art almost every day, and most days the process takes care of itself. One color suggests another, one stroke of the brush leads to the next. I stand back and see what needs to be done. The eye and the hand work together pills online seamlessly. And then there are days when colors clash or turn into mud, when every stroke is awkward, every result a disappointment. I stand back and think, “What on earth can I do with THIS?” So I let the painting dry and try again the next day. That often works, but not this time: Acrylic on paper, 24″ x 18″
