I continued to work on two abstract paintings I recently began ( see previous post ), seeking to add more texture and interest. I began by drawing lines in acrylic paint — titanium, cadmium yellow, yellow ocher, raw sienna, burnt sienna, and burnt umber. Then I brushed over the lines, so that they showed through faintly. In canvas #92, I used plain water, in #93, I used a pale tan-gray prescription medicine wash. Canvas #92, 36″ x 36″ Canvas #93, 36″ x 36″
